CAP Barbell 72″ Olympic Solid Chromed Weight Bar – Don’t have the room for a full sized 7′ Olympic bar? Then a shorter 6′ bar may be the answer. Not everyone has the room for a 7′ long weight bar, especially if you’re working out at home. A 6′ long Olympic weight lifting bar reduces most of the length by cutting down the sleeves so as to leave most of the gripping area length intact which is important if you are using your bar on a squat rack or Olympic bench press. While a shorter bar will perform all the same exercises as a regular length bar, some people prefer the lighter weight of the shorter bar for upper body exercises.

Each 6′ long chrome Olympic weight bar features revolving weight sleeves that freely rotate independently so that there is no torquing of the gripping area or the wrists as barbell lifts are performed. A medium diamond knurl is comfortable on the hands yet insures a solid grip even when hands are sweaty. And a 500 lb. weight capacity makes this Olympic bar suitable for heavy barbell lifts such as squats, shrugs, bench presses and deadlifts.
