They can also be used in conjunction with rubber mats or an Olympic weight lifting platform when performing Olympic style barbell lifts including deadlifts and cleans. Independently rotating barbell sleeves have ample room for multiple plate loading and remove torquing on the users wrists during lifts caused by moving or spinning plates. A medium grade diamond knurling ensures a solid grip while not being too abrasive to the palms. The 500 lb. weight capacity allows even the seasoned weight lifter to pile on the 45 lb. plates when performing heavy pressing and squatting barbell movements.
