Leg Extension / Prone Leg Curl Combo Machine – Muscle D Fitness (MDD-1007) – The Muscle D Leg Extension / Prone Leg Curl Combo Machine combines the upright seated leg extension with the lying, or “prone”, leg curl. Both of these leg exercises are extremely effective in shaping, strengthening and increasing muscle in the quads and hamstrings and make great accessory exercises, or “finishing” exercises, after prime movers like barbell squats. When performing leg extensions, the user is able to adjust the range of motion, or “pre-stretch”, by adjusting the leg roller and the range adjuster arm on the cam. Changing over from seated leg extensions to lying leg curls is accomplished by pulling the pin beneath the seat pad and pushing it all the way down until it locks into place. Then, set the range adjuster arm to find the desired pre-stretch and range of motion. The MDD-1007 packs a lot of functionality into one small footprint. This Muscle D exercise machine is fabricated from heavy-duty steel tubing combined with dense, closed-cell padding for user comfort and extended wear. Aircraft quality cables and pulley wheels with sealed bearings drive the 200 lb. weight stack that rides on hardened steel guide rods.
