Legend Fitness 3156 Olympic Shoulder Press Bench with Weight Plate Storage- The 3156 Olympic Shoulder Press by Legend Fitness is a commercial shoulder press rack that is constructed like a power cage with a built-in seat for maximum safety during seated shoulder presses. Its oversized frame is fabricated using only 3 x 3 x 11 gauge steel that is both mig welded and bolted. The lifter has access to two sets of uprights for various shoulder training exercises. The front uprights feature a top bar catch as well as a lower bar catch for added safety on a missed rep. The front uprights are ideal for performing seated barbell military presses with an Olympic bar. The rear uprights are similar in design but positioned a few inches higher to accommodate behind the head barbell presses and overhead presses. Situated on each side of the cockpit are the 3 x 3 safety arms. Similar to a power cage, the safety arms provide an added level of safety to the lifter in case of a missed rep. The built-in seat is fully welded to the frame for added durability and stability during the heaviest lifting sessions. Legend uses only top quality padding which in this case consists of 2 thick rebond foam with a density rating of 8 lbs. per cubic foot. What this means to the lifter is a fully supportive foundation that doesnt bottom out on the 3/4 plywood backerboard underneath!
