Horizontal Bench Press – Muscle D Fitness (MDP-1038) – The Muscle D Plate Loaded Horizontal Bench Press is a plate loaded chest press machine designed to build size and strength in the pecs and triceps. The independently moving handles hold each side accountable and eliminate the dominant side from exerting more force than the other, much like using dumbbells. The converging motion of the handles bring the hands closer together at the top of the rep for a better contraction and improved isolation of the pecs. Weight sleeves allow enough room for multiple weight plates to be added for heavy chest exercises. No spotter required! With the open frame design of the Muscle D bench press there is no bar to get pinned under should you miss a rep when training by yourself.
